Online Learning Starting Monday

We are excited to begin online instruction on Monday, April 6th! You can expect daily content in the form of instructional videos, activities and extra practice opportunities that can be started at any time of day. Stay tuned, our class resumes soon!

Coming Home today

Here is what is coming home today; Home and School binder and newsletter. For the moment, homework is just to read the Alphabet Chart with sounds and the number chart forward and back. More homework will be coming home in the future. Good place to keep this binder is in your child's backpack.

Counting On and Passing out Valentines

Finally, got the chance to pass out our Valentines. It was fun!

Here, we are writing the last number of our counting on book.

100th Day and Valentines

What a day! It was so fun and we learned a lot too. We ran a little behind and reading the names on those tiny Valentines cards was very tricky. Only a few friends passed out cards today. We will pass
out the rest on Monday!

Music and Updated Valentine's Names

In Music, Ms Swanson allowed us to use sticks to help us make rhythms.

In Shared Reading, we are reading a book about being kind; The Kindness Book. We wrote kindness words and pictures on little green papers and put in a big jar.

We started a new chart for Phonic.

Lost and Found cart is by the office. Please come and check out if your child lost something; recently or way back. We usually send leftovers to Saint Vincent on a regular basis so check quick before they are gone.

Report Cards

Your child's report card is coming home today. If you have questions, please let me know. A copy of our Phonic chart is also coming home too. Please practice the chart with your child. Thank you.

Pinball Machine Target

In Science today, we practiced ways to move the ball in our Pinball Machine to targets. We moved the shoelace left and right, we exerted gentle and strong forces.

Gym Basketball

This week, our Shared Reading book is about working hard and never give up to do things we love doing. The author of the book is Barack Obama, our previous President of the United States of America. We learned that a Principal is different then the President; although some friends are still thinking Mr. Wilfrid is the President!
